Effective October 1, 2021, the Nevada state postings will have two new notices added to the labor law posters.
The first new notice to be added for Nevada labor law postings is Assembly Bill 190, which covers paid or unpaid sick leave. It details how employers must allow employees to use accrued sick leave to assist members of their immediate family for medical related reasons.
The second new notice to be added for Nevada labor law postings is Assembly Bill 307, which covers that the Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation (DETR) post job training or employment programs run by the Department.
This update is scheduled to be effective on October 1, 2021.
Since Nevada has had multiple mandatory updates in 2021 alone, we highly recommend Nevada employers who purchase labor law posters from us to purchase our compliance plan. We offer a compliance plan with coverage of up to 1, 2, of 3 years, and this comes with an initial poster and also new posters every time there is a mandatory update: https://www.allinoneposters.com/Subscription-Plans/Combination-State-Federal-Poster-Plans
We have posted previous updates for Nevada labor law posters and tagged it on our blog, which you can read the entries here: https://allinonelaborlawposters.wordpress.com/category/state/nevada/
