The Kansas labor law postings for anti-discrimination have been updated, effective July 2021.
This is a MANDATORY update and all employers should make sure their posters are in compliance since the legal, statutory text has been revised. The exact change is on the Anti-discrimination poster for the state of Kansas. It states: “Kansas law provides equal opportunity in employment without regard to race, religious, color, sex, disability, national origin, ancestry, or age. Genetic testing and screening is also prohibited.”
The new addendum adds: “Sex includes LGBTQ+, all derivatives of sex, and pregnancy. Age is 40 or more years.”
In addition, the Dodge City Office contact information for the phone number and fax have been updated, and the Topeka main office added an email (email@example.com).
